APPLICATION MANAGER, GENETIC DIAGNOSTICS (M/F/D) FULL TIME

As the Application Manager you are responsible for communicating with and supporting customers by the use of our proprietary Software solutions for diagnostics and pharma.  Application manager is also responsible for communicating customer’s technical requirements and for the development and control of processes that will facilitate on-boarding, setup of clinical projects and operations of our customers on the digital platform.

As an Application Manager, you have the following responsibilities:

  • Management of strategic customer projects with providers of genetic kits in the pharma industry and with clinical laboratories 

  • Development and communication of technical processes for on-boarding of customers to the digital platform and setup of the analysis and validation software modules 

  • Support customers with the laboratory validation of genetic kits and genetic tests 

  • Support customers during routine genetic tests analysis 

  • Gather technical feedback on user experience and translation into the development process 

  • Presentation of clinical and technical features internally and externally 

  • Support company’s internal validations of proprietary medical products

  • Maintain relationships with customers and their technical staff  

  • Liaise with broad range of medical staff, researchers and industry professionals 

  • Communicate the full impact of genetic testing regulations and quality requirements to customers (e.g. IVDR, MDR, ISO 15189, FDA, ISO 13485) 

  • Gather technical feedback internally and externally, on user experience and translation into the development process via the Jira support system.

Required qualifications:

  • MSc in genetics, biology, bioinformatics or similar or education as laboratory technician or in natural sciences

  • Experience with medical literature and publication databases

  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written. German language is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the laboratory, research, or pharma environment  

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience with test, kit, or assay validations in medical laboratories or pharma is an asset

  • Experience or knowledge of NGS, genetics, genetic analysis and reporting in diagnostics

  • Understanding of quality and regulatory standards such as EU IVDR, MDR, ISO 15189, FDA, ISO 13485 and their implications for genetic testing is a plus

You will earn an appropriate salary starting at EUR 50.000 gross. Willingness for over-payment is given for candidates with proper experience and/or qualifications.
