As a Junior Human Factor/Usability Engineer you:

  • Support in managing Human Factors/Usability activities during the design development of medical software devices for genetic testing

  • Support in Development of Human Factors/Usability strategy according to IEC 62366 for the respective projects/products

  • Support in human factors activities according to the requirements, manage external stakeholders gathering feedback

  • Support in management of user studies (formative and summative), together with external stakeholders/users, to evaluate the user interface: assess results and present recommendations to optimize the design of our products

  • Provide Human Factors/Usability support within the development team

  • Documentation / Usability File

  • Ensure compliance with company quality assurance standards and applicable regulations

  • Support in leading related discussions with health authorities regarding submission strategies

Required qualifications:

  • Completed, higher education (FH/UNI) in the field of computer science, business and life sciences or comparable education or experience

  • Analytical and cross-system thinking skills to break down and optimize business requirements

  • Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented work style

  • High level of commitment, initiative, and strong communication and assertiveness skills

  • A confident attitude and a problem-solving mindset

  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English language

  • Commercial understanding


  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence

You’ll earn a salary starting at a minimum of EUR 35.784 per year (according to IT-KV 2021). Willingness for over-payment is given for candidates with proper experience and/or qualifications.
