UX/UI DESIGNER (FULL TIME)
Platomics is dedicated to bringing the power of personalized medicine into everyday healthcare by making genetic testing easy and affordable. For this purpose, our team applies the most advanced computing technologies to enable big data processing and analysis in healthcare. We are a vibrant team, with backgrounds in bioinformatics, genetics, and software development.
As an UX/UI Designer you are responsible for:

Collaborate with the engineering, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs, then translating them into engaging, simple and intuitive design solutions and understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product interface and experience

Participate in translating complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience

Advocate for the customer through human centered design methods, including: discovery, research, ideation, whiteboard sessions, and user testing

Masterwork prioritization of design centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysis

Embrace and advocating for an experience mindset - this is as important to the work as the results

Connect with design community peers by learning, sharing, and teaching

Support early product definition by working with partners to participate in discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities

Demonstrate familiarity with design tools to deliver concepts and enable successful collaboration across teams

Participate in end-to-end product design by:
-
Conducting research to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability and empathy studies

Creating process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps and interaction models, resulting in low to high fidelity prototypes

Designing within existing - and creating new - standards to contribute to our internal design system, best practices, and guidelines

Supporting effective storytelling and presentation of visual concepts to various stakeholders

Creating high fidelity design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with engineering colleagues

Required qualifications:
-
1 - 2 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design
-
Intermediate Experience with visual design progress mainly with Figma
-
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for our customers

Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies
-
Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
-
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones efficiently
-
Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize design for the best possible outcome
Preferred Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

Proficient in visual design progress mainly with Figma
-
Experience in coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages
-
Experience in Product design for Medical Devices/Software/Apps

Experience in working with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA

You’ll earn a salary starting at a minimum of EUR 36.890 per year (according to IT-KV 2022). Willingness for over-payment is given for candidates with proper experience and/or qualifications.
